Simulation in Trauma and in the Emergency Department

In situ simulation can be used to improve teamwork, communication and crisis resources management, as well as practice clinical skills.
It is an instrumental tool used to develop proficient multidisciplinary teams and maintain competence, as well as enable learning discussions through debriefing. Simulation can help create a culture of learning and safety in constant improvement in healthcare settings, and has been very useful in creating this in my practice.
